Foundrae

Beth Hutchens founded FoundRae in New York in 2015, naming it after her grandmother Rae, and built it on 18-karat gold jewellery that works as a language of symbols. Its medallions, often enamelled and worn layered on heavy chains, are organised around tenets such as strength, protection and dreams, alongside rings, bracelets and custom pieces made as modern heirlooms. Its first shop opened on Lispenard Street in Tribeca.
