When Belgian designer Raf Simons unveiled his SS'17 runway collection in Florence each look included a printed rendition of a piece of work from divisive American photographer, Robert Mapplethorpe. Breaking with his usual black and white tradition, Mapplethorpe produced a series of works that featured a colourful arrow.
