This is Neighborhood’s take on the Melton overcoat and it retains many of the iconic attributes of the historic British style; it’s entirely black and cut from a quasi-felted wool rich mix with a spread collar and an elegant button closure. The Japanese brand is famous for innovation and subversion, though, so that’s where the classic features end. Across the yoke, it’s trimmed with printed tarpaulin and at the back, it features a map pocket – a traditional feature of biker jackets.
