Fast forward to today, and Air Jordan is teaming up with Awake NY for a fresh drop that pays tribute to the sneaker that started it all – calling it a salute to "the ones before the 1s", tipping its hat to the rich Jordan legacy that's deeply woven into the Big Apple. A leather upper is accented with University Red snakeskin detailing and shiny Metallic Platinum Swoosh layers over a University Red Swoosh, giving the sneaker some serious depth.
