Founded in 2012, Haeckels is a natural fragrance and skin care brand based in Margate on the English coast. Hand harvested Seaweed forms the base ingredient of all of their skin care range, based on the tradition of Thalassotherapy derived from the Greek word meaning ‘sea’ or ‘ocean’. Their philosophy is simple: using plants and herbs which are indigenous to England to make products which help to heal, care and scent the body.

The Cliftonville Rain Candle have been created to evoke the sense of raindrops hitting dry coastal promenades or “Petrichor”, a word defined as “the distinctive scent which accompanies the first rain after a long warm dry spell”. This candle is made with a high quality woven cotton wick and eco-friendly soy wax, encased in a thick glass surround.
