Adidas Consortium x Avenue EQT Support 93/16Core Black & Cardboard
Removing the shoe from its running roots, adidas Consortium team up with Belgium’s Avenue for a luxe revision of the EQT Support 93/16. A far cry from its original makeup, the collaborative effort sees the boutique’s founder team up with Michael Hernandez of design studio Bruin Co. and Oregon’s High Street Gallery to produce an upscale leisure EQT Support pack.
Taking cues from the Antwerp Six - the group of esteemed Belgium fashion designers — and Scandinavian style, the silhouette sees atonal aniline leather update which is often used to upholster luxury furniture. Woven embroideries hit the mid-foot, heel and three-stripe branding in homage to traditional Scandinavian fabric design. To the sole the boost™ technology and TORSION® SYSTEM work seamlessly for an ultra-responsive step.
