Evisu

Evisu is a Japanese designer clothing label that specializes in producing premium denim. It was founded in Osaka in 1991, by Hidehiko Yamane, a trained tailor with a love of vintage jeans and a disappointment with the mass-produced modern versions on the market. With its vintage-style denim and ground-breaking attention to cut, wash and detail, Evisu soon reached cult-like status, worshipped by Japanese style mavens and pop culture alike. A mens and womenswear line soon completed the development of the brand and Evisu is still known today as one of the pioneers of designer denim and ultra-cool style.
