. Bottega Veneta is revered for its refined accessories, but Mr Daniel Lee flipped the narrative on his debut runway collection by sending out a procession of chunky biker boots. Taking practical elements from motorcycle, Chelsea and wellington styles with elasticated sides and double pull tabs, this pair has been made in Italy from smooth black leather and set on robust rubber lug soles. They hit about mid-calf, so work particularly well with a slimmer trouser cut.
