After initially meeting on Instagram, Rick Owens and SWAMPGOD decided to fuse their avant-garde sensibilities with a sustainable approach to design. Presented here by END., the Beatle Ballast ankle boot is crafted from smooth leather – obtained from deadstock materials – and overlaid with a sock-like cotton layer to achieve the deconstructed, experimental look desired by the duo. Underfoot, you’ll also find a chunky lugged sole to reiterate Owens’ subversive aesthetic.
