The latest collaborative effort between Barbour & Wood Wood celebrates Copenhagen based brand Wood Wood’s 15th anniversary, with a capsule collection of covetable, outerwear-focused styles, delivered just in time for AW17. This colourful drop is inspired by the collision of industrial and costal landscapes – common ground shared by these two brands – drawing elements from the practical and durable qualities that Barbour is known for and blending them with the sleek and contemporary design aesthetic that Wood Wood champions.

Inspired by their respective coastal locations, the outerwear in this range boasts a distinctive maritime aesthetic. Kitted out with four functional pockets, this long-line Amager jacket – named after Denmark's most densely populated island, a place popular with sports enthusiasts and nature lovers – is detailed with waxed cotton trims to its lower quarter and pocket and fastens securely with YKK zippers and branded press studs throughout. To the interior, a single zipper pocket and it’s waterproof taped seams are emblazoned with bright pops of colour – mirroring the aesthetic of high-vis apparel often worn on the high seas of the north. This piece comes built with a fully reversible construction – delivering two functional styles in one.
