adidas’ iconic ZX 8000 may have first been introduced as a runner, but the Three Stripes looks towards the fairways with this pair. It’s the latest from the A-ZX series, celebrating the letter G and all things golf. The cratered leather uppers are the first hint — they’re designed to look like your typical golf ball — but the details all tie in to the sport, too. Magnetic Trefoil branding on the tongue can be removed to mark your spot on the green, woven loops provide space for your tees and a deeper lug pattern — as well as the famous Torsion system — on the sole keeps you supported, even if you end up in the bunker.
